In Progress

Setting up for success

We know that courses are time-consuming and that it can be hard to carve out the time to complete them. Have a look at some of our important pointers below to help you make the most of this journey.

  • This course isn’t time-bound, but we suggest that you set aside an hour or two (or more, if you want) in your schedule every week. Physically slotting this into your schedule is going to drastically improve your chances of completing the course.
  • If possible, we recommend that you work through the Workbook exercises as you go through the video content in the course. Do watch all the videos, while stopping to complete the practical components in between. Don’t rush ahead, as the tasks are a vital element of the course and your song-creation journey.
  • Bookmark the course page so it’s easy to navigate to the course when you get a chance to work on it.

If you get overwhelmed at any stage, don’t worry! That feeling is completely normal, and you’re not alone. Consistency in putting in the work is the key to achieving your goals. Just keep taking one small step at a time, and you’ll make a lot of progress before you know it.

Remember, the learning curve will never be so steep again. Releasing your first song requires you to learn a lot of skills, and this will become easier with time as you gain experience – we promise.
